This work was commissioned by flautist Mark Underwood. It was premiered on the 18th of May 2025 in Sydney, by Mark Underwood, together with composer/pianist Margaret Brandman “The crown jewel of the concert was the world premiere of Brandman’s Silver Winds Suite, a luminous dialogue between Mark Underwood’s refined articulation and Margaret Brandman’s nuanced accompaniment. The three movements can be performed as stand-alone works, or as a complete suite. Each movement is under five-minutes duration. Total duration circa 10 minutes.
