For this popular work by Margaret Brandman composed a delicate violin melody over a lively
latin-american Rhumba rhythm in the piano part. It now forms part of a larger suite of Latin influenced pieces ‘La Vida Apasionada’ recorded by violinist Vov Dylan together with composer/pianist Margaret Brandman in 2022.   The work was first recorded by the concert master of the Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra Vít Mužík together with pianist Lucie Kaucká for Margaret’s SENSATIONS album.
Jucaro Rhumba D’Amor is included in the Australian Music Education Board’s Series 10, 7^th grade violin syllabus, launched in 2022. In 2018 it was performed in Australia by violinist Maria Lindsay together with pianist Irma Enriquez. This performance is available for viewing on Margaret Brandman’s YouTube Channel.
