The full version of this work (Duration: 7:05)  is an arrangement for violin and piano, of the first movement of Firestorm Symphony which was written following the bushfires in 1995 and 2001 during which time the composer lived in the lower Blue Mountains, NSW. It is a descriptive work which captures the sounds of native birds, menacing wind and raging fires. The work was first recorded by the concert master of the Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra Vít Mužík together with pianist Lucie Kaucká for Margaret’s SENSATIONS album.
